Week 12
It is way past week twelve and I am currently behind on almost everything. It is getting close to the end of the course and I am trying to prepare myself not only for this class but my other three classes. I plan on getting caught up with IS by tonight and even dedicate my Monday afternoon getting ahead again. We just had out last lecture and PowerPoint in class and it was very informative. I was very surprised by the numerous and creative ways scamming is done. I am going to have to be a lot more alert with what gets sent to me and who I provide my personal information too. Overall, week twelve was enjoyable because of thanksgiving and for the entire week thirteen I am only focused on getting ahead.

Yes, social engineering (a.k.a. scams) have always been around and only becoming more prolific with the connectivity of the Internet. Glad to hear you had an enjoyable Thanksgiving. Now it's time to catch up and finish IS101-3021 on a high note :-)
